Giraffe Long Description

Giraffe is a powerful, but still very easy to use, monitoring tool for the .NET Framework. Giraffe can monitor nodes (computers), processes, directories, files and Web (sites or pages). If anything goes wrong alarms will be generated and these can be forwarded via e-mail. Local or remote doesn t make any difference. Giraffe also includes some tools useful for system monitoring, such as ping, ns lookup, remote process viewer and even a simple send mail tool.

New in version 1.1: SMTP server authentication; Nodes with dynamic IP can be monitored; Multiple nodes (IP range) can be added at once; Alarm handeling substantially improved. Finally, included with Giraffe are several executables that can be run and classes that can be included in your own projects for generating alarms that can be sent to Giraffe.
