Merz OPC Server Simatic RK 512 / 3964R / MPI is used for communication with PLC Simatic S5, S7 series using RK 512 protocol. It is also possible to connect the OPC Server to an MPI bus using an RK512-MPI adapter.

The OPC Server connects OPC Client applications to any applications offering/requesting data to/from Simatic S5/S7 subsystems using the 3964R or 3964 procedures of the RK 512/ or MPI protocol. The OPC Server Simatic S5/S7 for RK512 / 3964R / MPI connects multiple Simatic PLCs at the same time, each of them being connected to the computer using a separate serial interface. Built-in simulation mode for testing as well as the built-in test OPC Client are implemented. Possibility of creating error LOG files. Unlimited number of OPC client connections. Modification and customization of OPC Server is possible upon request.
