This application improves flexibility when performing and scheduling shutdown operations, but it lacks some features we d liked to see. MacroSoft s stylish, easy-to-use interface helps you easily schedule shutdown tasks, including shutdown, reboot, hibernate and logoff by specific times and days.

The program offers a dropdown list to execute shutdown operations instantly or after a predetermined delay. Unlike similar applications, this one doesn t have the option to display reminders or perform system maintenance. In this genre it is almost de riguer to empty the Recycle Bin, temporary folders, and browsing history before starting the shutdown action.

The program provides quick access to your computer s Power Options settings. As is, MacroSoft Power Manager is one of the more reliable and clear-cut shutdown tools we ve seen. Those who wants to schedule shutdown functions will find this freebie a useful addition to their system.
